About Us

Contracting Intelligence Group

CIG is a contracting intelligence firm founded by former senior federal acquisition executives. Positioned between generic GovCon consultancies and single-service shops, we help small business, diverse-owned contractors, and federal agencies solve end-to-end federal growth and acquisition problems.

We've led source selections. We've sat on evaluation boards. We've awarded contracts at DoD, HHS, DHS, and GSA. Now we bring that evaluator-side intelligence directly to contractors who are done leaving wins on the table.

Our Solutions

What We Do

We do not sell single services. We solve acquisition problems end‑to‑end. CIG starts with your goals and constraints, then assembles a tailored mix from our core building blocks.

  • We establish a disciplined capture approach for small contractors that cannot afford a large in‑house BD organization, opportunity qualification, no‑bid criteria, and account strategy for DoD, DHS, HHS, and select civilian agencies. Outcome: A realistic, prioritized pipeline and a repeatable capture rhythm.

  • Senior‑level evaluations, mock boards, and color reviews that mirror how evaluators and COs will interpret your submission. Outcome: Proposals that survive compliance review and perform under evaluator scrutiny.

  • Fast, structured checks that map directly to instructions and evaluation factors, identify defects and protest triggers, and reduce the risk of being removed on technicalities. Outcome: Structurally sound submissions before evaluation begins.

  • Price‑to‑win analysis, margin‑aware rate design, and CPARS strategy so your solution, narrative, and numbers stay competitive and profitable while strengthening your next evaluation. Outcome: Competitive pricing that protects your economics and future scores.

  • Capture, proposal, and compliance training for internal teams, plus DAU‑aligned, evaluator‑aware acquisition training for agencies. Outcome: Teams that understand how their decisions are viewed by evaluators and auditors, and adjust accordingly.

About Us

Who We Serve

CIG primarily serves small and diverse-owned, services-focused government contractors that are already winning some federal work and need a more disciplined approach to capture, proposals, pricing, and compliance. We also support select federal agencies seeking evaluator-aware training and acquisition modernization support.
