PROPOSAL COMPLIANCE REVIEW

Know Where Your Proposal Will Fail Before the Government Tells You

Evaluator-informed review of your draft proposal, delivered in 48 to 72 hours, starting at $750.

Quick Answer

Proposal Precheck is a fixed-price, fast-turnaround review of your draft federal proposal, conducted by former federal evaluators and contracting officers before you submit. You send us your solicitation and current draft. We send back a prioritized list of compliance gaps, evaluator risks, and improvement opportunities, typically within 48 to 72 hours. It is not a rewrite. It is the check that tells you what to fix before the government tells you it was non-responsive.

Why CIG

Our review methodology is built by former federal contracting officers and SES-level acquisition executives who scored proposals from the government side, not just supported them from the contractor side.

We were the evaluators.

Our workflow uses structured, repeatable analysis to move fast, but every finding is validated and prioritized by a CIG partner before it reaches you. The software does the sorting. The partner does the judgment.

Technology-enabled, partner-reviewed.

If your Precheck surfaces bigger issues, we have a defined path into a Micro Sprint or full proposal support, so you're never left with a list of problems and no way to fix them on your timeline.

A clear next step, not a dead end.

Our Process

  • 01 Send us your materials.

Solicitation, all amendments, your current proposal draft, and your due date.

  • 02 We scope your review.

We confirm whether Precheck, Precheck+, or a Micro Sprint fits your proposal and timeline.

  • 03 We review against the evaluator's lens.

Your proposal is checked against the solicitation's actual instructions and evaluation criteria, the same way a federal evaluator would read it.

  • 04 You get a prioritized action list.

No essays. A clear, ranked list of what to fix before you submit.

FAQs

What is a Proposal Precheck?

1

A Proposal Precheck is a fixed-price, fast-turnaround review of your draft federal proposal against the solicitation's instructions and evaluation criteria. You receive a prioritized list of compliance gaps and risk flags before you submit, typically within 48 to 72 hours.

How much does a proposal compliance review cost?

2

CIG's Precheck starts at $750 to $1,250 for a 48 to 72 hour review. Precheck+, which adds an evaluator-style written assessment, runs $1,500 to $2,500 over 3 to 5 business days. Deeper support through a Micro Sprint starts at $5,000.

Does Proposal Precheck include proposal writing?

3

No. Proposal Precheck is an advisory review service. It does not include full proposal writing, price volume development, legal review, or submission support unless separately scoped in writing. If your review shows you need that level of support, we'll tell you and offer a clear next step.

How is this different from having a colleague review my proposal?

4

CIG's review methodology comes from people who sat on federal evaluation boards and scored proposals under FAR Part 15. We flag the issues that cause evaluators to mark a proposal non-responsive or rate it "Marginal," not just typos or formatting inconsistencies.
